Dev swears by X's shopping bot: it compares deals, builds BOMs and orders parts on a budget
Baconbrix · x · 2026-10-22
Developer Baconbrix shares a week of shopping with @bot: he asks for robot parts, the bot finds the best deals across the internet, generates an interactive multi-page bill of materials, and places the order via X Money.
He highlights that the bot is conscientious about his budget and keeps overspending in check — joking that on an "unregretted dollars spent" benchmark, @bot would be squarely on the frontier.
