Show HN: Playground Arcade Aggregates 700+ AI-Built Browser Games
richleigh · hn · 2026-10-20
A developer launched Playground Arcade, an aggregator for AI-built browser games inspired by his childhood on Newgrounds. It already lists 700+ games, all categorised with full creator credit, device icons and controller-support badges, auto-updates to find new releases, and lets creators submit their own.
The whole site was built with GPT 6 at very low cost. Highlights he calls out: Sprout Quest (light-hearted RPG), Tailgrab Freeskater (a controller-supported THPS-style build) and The Hourglass City (a noir Broken Sword-like point-and-click). It has surfaced games for 500+ unique visitors so far; quality varies, much like dev-built catalogs.
