FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-10-22
Of the $157B in publicly priced neocloud deals signed this year, Anthropic accounts for $90B (57%), with Meta at $48B and OpenAI signing only $10B with Cerebras.
- Anthropic's revenue grew 7x in a year, and it can use Amazon Trainium, Google TPUs, NVIDIA GPUs and AMD chips, renting from any provider with spare capacity to hedge chip shortages
- By provider: NSCALE ($45B) and Lambda ($35B) deals are all Anthropic; Nebius ($27B) and CoreWeave ($21B) are Meta; Volta ($10B) is Anthropic
- Anthropic's 2026 total reaches $254B including AWS ($100B), SpaceX Memphis ($45B) and TeraWulf ($19B)
- In 2025 OpenAI signed $610B across Oracle, Microsoft, AWS and CoreWeave, vs $80B for Anthropic
- As long as Anthropic keeps growing, the biggest neoclouds have a heavyweight anchor customer
