Claude Code bug: cloud sessions skip repo-committed skills while loading hooks
eandrada · ghdev · 2026-10-21
A detailed Claude Code bug report: in cloud sessions (scheduled routines and Projects beta threads), skills committed to the repo's .claude/skills/ aren't loaded — the model manually reads SKILL.md files instead — while the same repo's settings.json and hooks do load. Author ruled out branch, frontmatter, allowlist and deny-rule causes; behavior contradicts official docs. Labeled with repro, area:skills/area:cowork.
