Tenstorrent and AI company aiand launched JapanFold, a high-throughput, low-cost AI drug discovery platform hosted in Japan on AI processors.
- Models: structure prediction and binding affinity (Boltz-2, ESMFold-2, OpenFold3, OpenBind-0, RoseTTAFold3, OpenDDE, AF2-IG), de-novo design (BoltzGen, RFdiffusion3, PXDesign), and protein embeddings (ESMC, SaProt).
- Access: browser workbench, a single HTTP API endpoint, and an agent skill for Claude Code/Cursor/Codex (npx skills add japanfold/japanfold) so agents can call it in plain language.
- Pricing: flat $0.26 per processor-hour, billed only for actual chip time; their own Boltz-2 runs cost $0.0022 (256 aa), $0.0062 (512 aa), and $0.022 (1024 aa) per fold. Claims 1:1 accuracy parity with reference implementations; $100 free credits on signup.
