Dev builds Scratch-style MCP that feeds coding agents one task at a time to stop plan drift
NoTokenDev · reddit · 2026-10-22
Reddit developer NoTokenDev released Nodeon, an MCP tool targeting "plan drift" in Claude Code / Cursor on larger projects: agents fine-tune task 1 but by task 4 have forgotten half the plan and rebuild working code, while ever-longer CLAUDE.md files get skimmed anyway.
The approach: lay out the project as Scratch-like blocks, and the agent pulls one task at a time via getnexttask with just the context it needs, builds it, marks it done, then grabs the next. Tasks with unfinished dependencies are never handed over.
Setup is pasting a URL into your config and signing in with GitHub; there's a free tier. The author says it's early with a handful of users and is soliciting feedback from people running long agent builds.
