Sourcegraph CEO Quinn Slack (sqs) announced a new Amp direction: agents shouldn't be limited to slow-bandwidth text-out, keyboard-in interaction.
Amp will now sometimes surface an interactive mini-app right inside the thread, letting users click, play with options and give input directly instead of typing. It's an interesting step toward upgrading agent interaction from plain text to embedded UI.
