XFreeze · x · 2026-10-22
Tesla has launched an official Robotaxi safety report page tracking every collision reported to NHTSA. With no safety monitor on board, the fleet has driven over 3.3 million autonomous miles (2.18M in Austin, across six cities including Dallas, Houston and Miami) with 0 injuries, 0 airbag deployments, and 0 pedestrians or cyclists hit. Baselines suggest human drivers over the same miles would have caused 9.1 injury collisions, 4.1 airbag deployments, and 0.52 pedestrian/cyclist incidents. The fleet has also logged 862k night miles, 113k rain miles and 575k rush-hour miles, with expansion planned to Las Vegas, Jacksonville and Phoenix.
