Isomorphic glove teleop captures per-joint finger detail for robot hand learning
ybisk · x · 2026-10-22
DanielXieee showed a data glove teleoperation setup for a robot hand: the glove and robot hand share the same joint arrangement, so after calibration each measured glove angle directly sets the target for the corresponding robot joint.
The demo shows knuckle, middle and tip joints moving independently, with the team emphasizing preserving that per-joint detail in the recorded data — high-fidelity teleoperation like this is valuable for robot imitation learning.
