Claude desktop 2.37337.1 update breaks sidebar: folder grouping gone, Routines hidden
drbenjamintaylor-png · ghdev · 2026-10-15
The Claude desktop app update to 2.37337.1 introduced a UI regression on macOS (labeled bug):
- Per-folder session grouping vanished: all sessions now appear in one flat "This computer" list; the "Group by: project" setting now groups by environment instead, with no way to restore the folder view
- Routines section force-hidden: listsections reports it as shown: false, collapsed: true despite no user changes
- Routine runs no longer listed as rows: sessions from scheduled routines (daily 05:00 plan, weekly review) only appear under their routine — invisible while the Routines section is hidden
The regression appeared without any settings changes; users relying on project grouping and Routines should be cautious before updating.
