Couple builds 2.5D pixel MMO 'Lumoria' with Claude Opus — first boss-fight gameplay revealed
AkiraVero · reddit · 2026-10-22
Reddit user AkiraVero and their fiancée are building a cozy-yet-competitive 2.5D pixel online MMO, 'Lumoria', using AI tools (mainly Claude Opus 5.5), and released a first gameplay demo: a boss fight starts around 0:38 with a phase two at 1:10-1:20, and they're asking the community for feedback.
On art: it's not purely AI-generated — the fiancée is a hobby artist who does initial drawings, then uses AI tools to assist with facings and animation frames in a hybrid workflow. Website and Discord are WIP; the author is answering questions in the thread.
