Digital collage revives Mark Weiser's 1991 ubiquitous computing classic

Inspired by an Andy Matuschak reference, Grant Custer built a digital collage reproducing Mark Weiser's 1991 Scientific American classic "The Computer for the 21st Century."
The collage highlights Weiser's core ideas: truly powerful technology “disappears” into the background; Tab, Pad, and Board devices map to tasks of different scales; and machines should fit humans and their environment rather than forcing people to adapt. These concepts remain a key reference point for human-computer interaction debates in the AI era.
