Cloud CI platform Blacksmith announced a Series C led by Sequoia at a $1B valuation.
The company says weekly CI jobs grew from 5M in January to over 90M — an order-of-magnitude jump driven by AI agents writing far more code, all of which still needs to be built and tested before shipping. The AI coding wave is directly fueling CI/CD infrastructure demand.
