Resend Launches Inboxes for Agents and Forge, Its Own MTA Infrastructure
stuffyokodraws · x · 2026-10-22
At its Forward event, Resend unveiled two new products:
- Inboxes: shared inboxes designed for both agents and humans, letting autonomous agents send, receive, and manage email. Screenshots show priority-sorted views handling support scenarios like domain verification, billing, and rate limits.
- Forge: Resend's new sending infrastructure (MTA), fully controlled in-house and built for speed and deliverability.
The launches signal email infrastructure being rebuilt around AI agents, for which email is a key channel to interact with the outside world.
