Sodabase launches to auto-detect and fix broken Supabase tables your agents silently broke
santiviquez · x · 2026-10-22
Data quality company Soda launched Sodabase, a product built around the premise that "your agent broke Supabase and you probably didn't notice."
- Catches three silent failure modes: stale data (cron/sync stops writing), schema drift (renamed/dropped columns breaking edge functions), and wrong data (duplicates, spikes, bad writes)
- How it works: connect your Supabase project; it reads tables, cron jobs, edge functions, and logs, then learns each table's normal update cadence and shape — no manual rules
- Fix loop: when something breaks it pins the cause in Slack (down to the cron/function/agent) and proposes a one-click fix
- Demo case: a migration made profiles.username required without updating the signup trigger, silently breaking all signups — Sodabase detected and fixed it
The maker is also designing swag for the Nov 4 NYC Supabase hackathon.
