EAU Meta-Agent Automates Agentic RL Training, Beating Expert-Designed Pipelines
xiye_nlp · x · 2026-10-22
Researchers introduce EAU, a meta-agent that automatically manages user-centric agentic RL training, which is often unstable when users are simulated by LMs. Via Environment-Agent-User co-evolution, EAU autonomously tunes entropy, scales rewards, identifies bugs, restarts runs, and transfers experience across runs.
Per the shared chart, EAU scores 62.3 on User Gym vs 55.9 for prior expert-designed pipelines, and 64.3 vs 49.6 on ColBench — a clear improvement over human-designed training management.
