UAlberta Releases EAU: A Meta-Agent Framework for Automated Agentic RL Training

On October 21-22, a University of Alberta team released and presented EAU (Environment-Agent-User co-evolution): a system that uses a meta-agent to automatically manage user-centric agentic RL training. Experiments show it consistently outperforms previously published RL pipelines across one to two benchmarks and two backbone models, with task completion on ColBench improving by up to 36.7% and overall scores by up to 15.0%.
