Nscale listed 10,000MW of 'potential' capacity in its S-1 — built under 1%
SumitGup · x · 2026-10-22
Data-center startup Nscale listed 10,000 megawatts of "potential" capacity in its IPO filing, but per Bloomberg, it has built or leased less than 1% of that as of August 2026. The stock flamed out on debut, dragging down neocloud peers like CoreWeave and Nebius.
The poster calls it the top of the AI bubble: "when companies sell the dream and deliver a rounding error, the top is in."
