PyTorch · x · 2026-10-22
Opening Day 2 of PyTorchCon North America 2026, PyTorch Foundation Executive Director Mark Collier delivered the keynote "Building What's Next in Open Source AI," returning to the vision of open source software to train and serve models on any chip, in any cloud, for any agent.
Topics include broader hardware participation, workload fungibility across environments, scaling and customizing frontier models, agentic AI, the evolution of inference hardware, contributor recognition, and open science — plus how AI itself is beginning to change how these systems are built.
