Winbrow: a Windows voice assistant running local Qwen 4B and TTS on Snapdragon X Elite NPU
HowDevelop · x · 2026-10-21
Inspired by Macbrow, a developer built Winbrow, a Windows voice assistant: microphone audio goes through Gradium STT, Jev routes and picks actions, Windows controls/browser automation execute them, a local Qwen 4B LLM answers questions, and Phonon TTS speaks the replies. STT and routing use cloud APIs, while LLM and TTS inference run on-device on a Snapdragon X Elite NPU. Built for Phonon's OSS launch.
