marclou shipped a batch of features to his email/newsletter product: custom fields and tags, first-name personalization, link click stats, embeddable signup forms, full beehiiv import with tags, opens-over-time charts, help center search, and weekly summary emails — all built vibe-coding with Claude Opus.
Screenshots reveal engagement data: half of opens arrive within 8 hours of sending (peak Thursday 5 PM), with 414 opens trickling in after 3 days. Open rates vary sharply by inbox: iCloud 79.5%, Gmail 47.6%, Outlook 37.6%, Proton just 28.9%, with Gmail accounting for 55% of sends. The product also exposes an API and MCP integration for AI assistants.
