agent-microvm: Disposable AWS sandboxes for coding agents, with CLI, SDK and MCP server
OldAdministration463 · reddit · 2026-10-21
A Reddit developer open-sourced agent-microvm, a simple tool that gives coding agents an isolated AWS machine: let the agent clone a repo, install dependencies and run tests, then delete the VM if it wrecks the environment.
The project ships with a CLI, a Python SDK and an MCP server, and can be set up by the agent itself.
