G2: 31% of firms spend 6+ hours a week overseeing AI agents, eating gains
ombre-ai · reddit · 2026-10-21
G2's AI Agents Report (July survey of 1,019 B2B decision-makers) finds:
- 31% say staff spend 6+ hours a week overseeing agent work; 40% at large enterprises vs 21% at SMBs
- 45% say oversight and rework consume over a quarter of expected gains
- Still, 80% of orgs running agents in high-volume workflows report cycle-time improvements of at least 11%
The picture is gains minus checking — the open question is where oversight time actually goes.
