Non-coder builds live 3D Delhi airport tracking real flights with Claude Code
ReadyAviatorOfficial · reddit · 2026-10-21
A pilot exam-prep site owner in India with no CS background built a live 3D model of Delhi airport using Claude Code — free and sign-up-free at airport.readyaviator.com.
Highlights:
- Real flights landing, taxiing and taking off, fed by licensed, self-hosted and public data sources
- Tap any aircraft to follow it or sit in the cockpit; planes wear real airline liveries
- Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad are live too, tracking traffic 50 km out
Workflow: describe behavior in plain English ("the plane should slow down on the runway like a real one") and Claude writes the code, sets up the server, and runs checks so a broken version can't ship. Hardest parts: natural taxiing and phone performance.
