15-year dev built a forensic visual novel with Claude Code, demo live on Steam

A developer of 15 years used Claude Code to build his first game, Bone to Pick — a forensic mystery visual novel with seven original cases. A Steam demo covers the entire first case (30 minutes).
- You play a trainee at a Washington, D.C. forensic institute: examining unidentified bones, identifying victims, and interrogating suspects, with forensic minigames like sorting bones, 3D refitting fragments, and clay facial reconstruction.
- Technical highlight: Claude Code took open-source bone models from OpenSim (a biomechanics tool) and wrote a script to cut them into fracture fragments, rendered directly in WebGL.
- Even store screenshots were automated: Claude plays the game to a specific scene and captures it in each language.
