Judea Pearl welcomed @mboudry to AI safety org Conjecture Institute. Boudry announced he is the institute's first Senior Philosopher, describing its culture as following Karl Popper and David Deutsch — bold conjectures and ruthless refutations. He was hired in a heartbeat, he says, but if he turns out wrong about something (or everything), they should kick him straight back out: "Let our hypotheses die in our stead!"
