Harness Lens lets you diff system prompts and defaults across Claude Code, Codex CLI and more
victormustar · x · 2026-10-21
Harness Lens, now on Hugging Face, is a tool for inspecting and comparing coding agent harnesses.
- Side-by-side diff of system prompts (e.g. Aider uses per-edit-format templates while Claude Code assembles runtime fragments, shorter for newer models)
- Compares default tool lists, context compaction timing, default permissions, and edit formats
- Supports Aider, Claude Code, Cline, Codex CLI, OpenCode, OpenHands and more; pick 2-4 to compare field by field
