Controlling CapCut Web with Codex: a natural-language workflow for K-pop fan edits
SarahAnnabels · x · 2026-10-21
A demo of an automated video-editing workflow combining Codex and CapCut Web: describe your editing goals in natural language and let Codex perform the steps CapCut supports.
Setup
- Open CapCut Web → Video Editor → click the top-right icon → copy the plugin prompt
- Paste the prompt into ChatGPT on desktop and configure the CapCut plugin to use Codex
Once connected, Codex can arrange clips, trim footage, and add subtitles or transitions on command. The author used it to cut K-pop fan edits from concert clips and fancams without manually sorting shots or adjusting every cut.
