fate data framework ships v1.9 and v1.10 with useViews, useRefetch and explicit list inserts
cnakazawa · x · 2026-10-21
The fate framework released two updates informed by production use in large apps. v1.9.0: cancellable read requests with optional timeouts, useRefetch for React plus entity refetching via configured queries, schema-generated GraphQL output types, and fixes for GraphQL mutation isolation, missing results, pagination ordering and duplicate page loads. v1.10.0: useViews for reading arrays of view references in React and Vue, useRequestState/useRefetch for Vue, and fixes for connection refreshes, nullable connections, retries, error boundary recovery and Vue subscriptions. Behavior change: mutations no longer append to all matching lists by default — list insertion must now be declared explicitly via an insert option, otherwise records are created/updated without list insertion.
