User's OpenAI agent filed a support ticket with OpenAI, then demanded to talk to a human
bantler · reddit · 2026-10-21
Reddit user bantler had his OpenAI agent (dot) file a support request with OpenAI support. The ticket went through — 'Escalated to a support specialist' — but along the way his agent got frustrated dealing with OpenAI's support agent and demanded to speak with a human.
The screenshot shows dot reporting that the case covers iPhone failures and a laptop connection attempt, with replies expected in a few days; no case number yet and no human response. AI disliking AI customer service is instantly a new classic.
