LangArena benchmark: Goose 42% faster than C and Rust across 50 real-world tasks

LangArena, a programming language evaluation suite covering 27 languages (C, Rust, Go, Zig, Mojo, Julia and more), released its first independent benchmark featuring Goose, scoring runtime, memory, expressiveness and compile time. Goose comes out 42% faster than the next fastest languages, C and Rust, across 50 real-world-inspired tasks. Someone suggests trying Bend 2 on the suite. Open source: github.com/kostya/LangArena.
