Claude-designed proteins neutralize scorpion toxins: 17 of 211 designs bind in wet lab
CatAstro_Piyush · x · 2026-10-21
Adaptyv shared results from a wet-lab campaign with Anthropic and citrini: Claude designed novel proteins to neutralize scorpion toxins, and 211 designs were tested in an automated wet lab. 17 showed binding to the toxins, with all data released on proteinbase. The team frames it as a step toward anyone running drug discovery campaigns on automated wet labs.
