LangChain expands agent redteaming beta: 34 hypotheses tested, 9 findings in one run
hwchase17 · x · 2026-10-21
LangChain founder Harrison Chase announced the rollout of its agent redteaming feature to more users, inviting people to DM for access. He notes "redteaming" is a bit of a misnomer — the focus is less on security and more on systematically finding places where agents mess up.
The dashboard screenshot shows the tool auto-generating and validating hypotheses: a single run tested 34 of 37 hypotheses and confirmed 9 findings (8 medium, 1 low) across issue families like differential behavior and workflow bypass, covering correctness and guardrails checks, with severity-graded product-facing reports.
