In Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, the Salesians of Don Bosco ran a year of media education seminars for nine Catholic schools themed 'Voices and Faces in an AI Age.' Each school scripted, shot, and edited a one-minute film in a single day, ending in the St Carlo Acutis Film Festival on Oct 17 with ten student films about growing up with AI. Marianville Secondary won with 'AI and Me,' La Salle Technical placed second with 'A Voice Not Mine,' and St Joseph's International came third with 'Strangers in the End.' The author suggests one-minute film assignments as an AI-literacy teaching tool.
