The Salesians of Don Bosco in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea ran a year of Media Education Seminars for nine Catholic schools under the theme "Voices and Faces in an AI Age." At the closing St Carlo Acutis Film Festival on Oct 17, each school scripted, shot and edited a one-minute film in a single day exploring the challenges young people face in the digital and AI age. Archbishop Maurizio Bravi, citing Pope Leo XIV's World Communication Day message, stressed that technology must serve human dignity and that AI should not control people.
