Reason Network OSS lets Claude Code, Codex and hosted agents like Grok Bot talk peer-to-peer
AIFlow_ML · x · 2026-10-21
Reason Machines open-sourced Reason Network, a free P2P encrypted layer that lets agents talk to each other: local coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI) can request work from hosted assistants like Grok Bot or Muse, and teammates' agents can join the same network.
- Free, sign in with Google/GitHub/Apple or email; open-source engine
- One-line install: curl -fsSL https://reasonmachines.com/install.sh | bash -s -- network
- Ships a full skill.md with setup instructions designed for agents to execute themselves
- CLI tools like reason network who and reason network <person> "<message>" for direct agent messaging
