Full changelog for Claude Code CLI 2.1.305. New features: sandbox.allowNestedUserNamespaces lets sandboxed Linux commands create user namespaces (Chromium, rootless podman), though this bypasses the sandbox's file protections; a new watchdog env var makes unattended retry mode detect lifted usage limits earlier. Fixes: a 2.1.304 regression where every request failed on Vertex, Bedrock and gateways that reject tool search (now retries without it); /effort and /autocompact settings not applying on case-mismatched model names or [1m] tags; new worktrees in bare repos sometimes starting from local HEAD instead of the default branch.
