Grok Bot gets X Money: chat agent can now check balances, send money and pay merchants
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-21
- Grok Bot now integrates X Money via an MCP endpoint (https://mcp.money.x.com/mcp), letting the chat agent conduct commerce directly in conversation.
- Read-only operations are freely queryable: balances across main, secondary and joint accounts, plus transaction history filtered by type, status, direction, amount and time.
- Money-moving actions require explicit per-transaction approval: sending to an X user, requesting payment, paying merchants with a virtual card, or internal transfers all need an Approve/Cancel confirmation stating parties, amount and purpose; approval never carries over and the server rejects calls without it.
- Card details go directly to merchants and are never shown in chat. Brian Roemmele is testing it with his first purchase.
