ACS Research Launches Free Platform Giving Researchers Access to Llama 3.1 Base Models

ACS Research has built a free platform for researchers and tinkerers doing "LLM psychology" — the study of what originates in pre-training versus post-training.
Base models are highly useful for deep understanding of LMs, but experimenting with large base models is often hard or costly for individual researchers. The platform currently serves Llama 3.1 8B, Llama 3.1 405B, and Trinity-Large-TrueBase.
