Fizgig 8.8.1 hits ~70% ArcFace likeness with new MOSS-Image 'Slide' training schedule
shootthesound · reddit · 2026-10-21
Open-source LoRA trainer Fizgig 8.8.1 introduces a new default clean-end schedule for MOSS-Image: "Slide" puts 60% of steps on nearly-clean images (where faces and fine detail are learned) early, eases to 30%, then alternates back to prevent likeness decay. On the author's hardest 55-image dataset it was the best of eight settings, holding 70% ArcFace similarity from epoch 20 to 60. Also adds SFT-look base previews (2.1GB download), preview provenance labels, and a Krea 2 16GB-card fix; the author recommends updating ComfyUI.
