Sophont launches Holon-S1 to predict thousands of gene expressions from routine pathology slides
humanscotti · x · 2026-10-21
Sophont unveiled Holon-S1, an AI model that predicts where thousands of genes are active directly from routine pathology slides, skipping costly molecular tests. It maps gene predictions plus tissue structure onto dozens of interpretable biological programs (proliferation, hypoxia, cytotoxicity, angiogenesis, etc.) for biomarker discovery, treatment response explanation, patient stratification, and target prioritization. Research use only for now; a technical report is available.
