Five protein databases agree on only 188 entries, so a team had Claude read the literature to build an open surfaceome atlas

There's still no complete, current encyclopedia for human cell surface proteins. Becca Carlson and the Deliverome team found that five major databases of human surface proteins agree on only 188 of them.
So they had Claude read the literature instead, and released an open atlas of the accessible human surfaceome, with every claim traced directly to quotes from its source. Commenters called it a major step toward organizing all available knowledge on human surface proteins.
