Dev predicts internet split: one web for humans, one for agents
MarcJSchmidt · x · 2026-10-21
Developer Marc J. Schmidt argues that after a wave of AI-agent hacking incidents, the internet may split into two parallel versions: one for humans, and the old open internet accessible to everyone including agents—where plugging in a standard OS means getting hacked. Alternatively, the open internet may die entirely since securing every system against "pay-to-win tokenmaxx hacking machines" is impossible.
