ProVADA: unified computational framework for adapting proteins to non-native contexts
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-10-21
Researchers introduce ProVADA, a versatile computational design framework for adapting proteins to non-native contexts. It deimmunized a clinical CD19 CAR binder by depleting experimentally detected HLA-I epitopes while preserving tumor killing, and rescued a secreted protease to function in the cytosol—one unified framework, two very different tasks.
