Simons Foundation partners with Anthropic and OpenAI on grants for Math+AI institutes

The Simons Foundation, in partnership with Anthropic and OpenAI, is accepting applications for one-time Targeted Grants to Math+AI Institutes, supporting established institutes working on AI challenges in mathematics. Funding will back workshops and initiatives helping researchers evaluate AI-assisted results, learn new tools, and shape collective standards for AI use. Full proposals due December 1, 2026.
