Linear's founder: agent-built products become feature piles unless you have a point of view
wateriscoding · x · 2026-10-21
Linear CEO Karri Saarinen argues that when everyone (and every agent) ships changes that make sense in isolation, products degenerate into a pile of features nobody chose. The fix isn't more process but a point of view: intuition built through experience, customer conversations, and deliberate judgment. Products develop character through what their makers pay attention to, what they refuse to build, and what they keep polishing after it technically works.
