Claude reads the literature to build open human surfaceome atlas, claim by claim
owl_posting · x · 2026-10-20
Deliverome released its first paper: an open, evidence-backed atlas of the accessible human surfaceome. The motivation: five major databases of human surface proteins agree on only 188 proteins, exposing serious disagreement in the field.
Instead of trusting conflicting databases, the team had Claude read the primary literature and issue a surface-accessibility verdict for every protein, with each claim traced directly to quotes from its source rather than black-box conclusions. The atlas is openly available for per-protein exploration of verdicts and evidence.
