PacBio announced a multi-year collaboration with Verily Health to connect PacBio HiFi sequencing with Verily Pre, combining genomic and clinical data to create AI-ready datasets at scale for biomedical research.
A genomics researcher amplifying the news says the HiFi approach is promising: it can natively read out modified nucleotides, enabling phased genomes built with methylation marks on top — highly informative for research.
