OpenCode bug: configured MCP servers listed by CLI but unavailable inside sessions
dimahc · ghdev · 2026-10-20
A developer filed an issue on OpenCode reporting that MCP servers configured in OpenCode appear correctly in opencode mcp list but are unavailable inside actual sessions — the internal MCP resource lookup path returns an empty list.
- Environment: OpenCode v2.1.0, Debian on WSL2, with plugins including oh-my-opencode-slim 3.0.5
- Repro: configure MCP servers, verify via opencode mcp list, start a session, and all MCP-backed functionality behaves as if no servers exist
- The reporter stresses this is not about one specific MCP integration but a session-level exposure gap between CLI/config and the running session
