Claude diagnoses dead PinePhone, gets Claude Desktop running on 3GB RAM in hours

A Reddit user's PinePhone had been sitting unusable—Claude identified that its poor USB PD negotiation couldn't handle a high-wattage charger, and an old 5V 1.55A adapter brought it back to life.
Guided by Claude, they installed Mobian (Debian-based, ARM64) and got Claude Desktop running responsively on the 3GB RAM device via USB mode, then fixed the broken keyboard drivers, the keyboard's built-in powerbank not charging the phone, and battery drain issues. The whole revival took just a few hours total.
